Job Title: Chief Investment Officer (CIO) – Portfolio Management Services (PMS)

Location: Mumbai, India

Role Summary:

The CIO for PMS at Jio BlackRock AMC will be responsible for leading the firm's portfolio management strategies, ensuring optimal performance across various asset classes. This role involves developing investment policies, managing portfolio risks, and aligning investment strategies with the company's objectives and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investment Strategy Development: Formulate and implement comprehensive investment strategies for PMS, considering market trends, economic indicators, and client goals.
• Portfolio Oversight: Supervise the construction and management of diverse portfolios, ensuring adherence to investment guidelines and performance benchmarks.
• Risk Management: Establish robust risk assessment frameworks to identify, analyze, and mitigate potential investment risks.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of portfolio managers and analysts, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Client Engagement: Collaborate with the sales and client relations teams to communicate investment strategies and performance to clients, addressing their queries and concerns effectively.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all investment activities comply with regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Market Research: Stay abreast of global and domestic market developments, adjusting investment strategies as necessary to capitalize on emerging opportunities.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 15 years in investment management, with a significant portion in portfolio management and a proven track record of delivering superior investment performance.
• Education: Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; CFA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Skills: Strong analytical abilities, excellent leadership and communication skills, and proficiency in using advanced portfolio management tools and software.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of various asset classes, investment vehicles, and the regulatory environment governing PMS in India.
• Network: Established relationships with industry stakeholders, including analysts, brokers, and regulatory bodies.
