Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL development, data integration, and legacy application migration. You will be responsible for working directly with clients, conceptualizing data extraction solutions, and supporting the transition to an in-house data ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, develop, and deploy data extraction and transformation procedures in collaboration with clients.
• Provide recommendations on data integration strategies to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project managers (internal/external) to ensure timely and high-quality project deliveries.
• Support migration efforts of applications from legacy systems to modern in-house ecosystems.
• Contribute to new product integration efforts aligned with organizational data goals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Strong understanding of relational and non-relational database structures.
• Experience with ETL processes is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven client-facing experience in implementing software/data solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5–8 years of experience in SQL Development.
• Prior experience with application migration and product integration is advantageous.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and practices.
• Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions.
• Experience with performance tuning of SQL queries.

Experience

• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in Oracle PL/SQL and SQL development.
