Job Summary

The Director of Automation will provide strategic leadership in defining and executing the strategy for the organization’s enterprise automation platforms. This role is crucial in aligning long-term business objectives with the transformative potential of automation technologies, ensuring that the organization remains at the forefront of automation innovation.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the strategy for the organization’s enterprise automation platforms.
• Platform Engineering: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust automation platforms, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Automation Anywhere Expertise: Oversee the engineering, optimization, and adoption of Automation Anywhere across the enterprise.
• Power Platform Management: Manage capabilities within Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Copilot Studio.
• Low-Code/No-Code Enablement: Drive the adoption and optimization of low-code/no-code automation toolsets.
• AI Integration: Enable integration of AI-driven technologies into automation platforms.
• Cloud Engineering: Provide expertise in Microsoft Azure for scalable, reliable, and secure automation platforms.
• Team Management: Build and lead a high-performing team of platform engineers.
• Governance Frameworks: Establish and enforce governance and compliance standards for automation platforms.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various teams to drive platform adoption and optimization.
• Lifecycle Ownership: Oversee the lifecycle management of automation platforms.
• Automation Delivery: Enable streamlined automation delivery across business units.
• Tool Integration: Drive integration of automation platforms with adjacent technologies.
• Financial Management: Manage budgets, financial models, and ROI tracking for automation platform investments.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 18 years in technology or automation management roles.
• Platform Expertise: Extensive experience with enterprise-scale automation platforms such as Automation Anywhere and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Team Management: Proven ability to manage engineering teams responsible for platform design and optimization.
• Low-Code/No-Code Proficiency: Experience in enabling low-code/no-code automation toolsets.
• Cloud Engineering: Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and architecting scalable cloud-based solutions.
• AI Technologies: Proficiency in enabling AI technologies within automation platforms.
• Regulated Industries: Experience working in regulated industries is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 18 years of experience in technology or automation management roles, with proven expertise in platform engineering and automation delivery.

• Estimated salary range: ₹14,000,000
