Job Summary

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will play a critical leadership role in driving business outcomes while balancing growth and operational excellence. The COO is expected to lead operational initiatives, manage data governance, and foster a collaborative work environment. This role is ideal for a candidate thriving in a fast-paced and evolving environment who can ensure operational efficiency and strategic growth.

Responsibilities

• Drive business outcomes while balancing growth with operational excellence.
• Oversee process optimization, data governance, and compliance management to enhance organizational efficiency.

• Establish efficient information flows and integrate systems/tools across various business functions.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: A relevant degree in Business Administration or related field; further qualifications such as an MBA preferred.
• Industry Experience: Experience in financial services, venture capital, or consulting, with a focus on operations, client onboarding, data, and compliance.
• Business Acumen: Strong capability to drive business results through operational management.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage and lead teams effectively.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to utilize data to inform decisions and drive business strategies.
• Change Management: Proven experience in managing transformation in organizations.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to foster collaboration and drive consensus.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in working with startups or within an ecosystem of angel investors and venture capitalists.
• Familiarity with operational software tools and data management systems.

Experience

• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in operations or managerial roles, preferably within venture capital, financial services, or consulting.
