IBM Sterling Developer
Job Summary
The IBM Sterling Developer will be responsible for understanding and translating business requirements into effective EDI Integration solutions. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining IBM Sterling B2B Integrator solutions for EDI B2B data exchange, ensuring data integrity and compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Understand and translate business requirements into EDI Integration solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (Sterling Integrator) solutions for EDI B2B data exchange.
- Develop and configure EDI maps (X12, EDIFACT, IDOC) and implement custom transformation logic and business rules.
- Manage trading partner profiles and communication protocols including AS2, FTP, SFTP, VAN, REST, and JMS.
- Monitor, support, and troubleshoot EDI transactions and integrations.
- Collaborate with business analysts and cross-functional teams to gather requirements.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Support deployment, testing, and production rollout of EDI solutions.
- Willing to work during Eastern Standard Time (EST) and possess strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers.
- Utilize ServiceNow for IT service management, incident management, and workflow automation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in EDI integration and IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
- Strong understanding of EDI mapping protocols including X12, EDIFACT, and IDOC.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing communication protocols such as AS2, FTP, SFTP, VAN, REST, and JMS.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot EDI transactions.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, particularly in working with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow for IT service management.
- Relevant educational qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Experience with other EDI tools or platforms.
