Job Summary

The SAP FICO Consultant will be responsible for implementing and supporting the SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, which are critical for the financial management of the organization. This role contributes to the organization’s goals by ensuring accurate financial data reporting and streamlining financial processes within the SAP environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement solutions within the SAP FICO module to meet business requirements.
• Perform configurations, testing, and documentation to ensure system functionality aligns with business processes.
• Collaborate with finance teams to gather requirements and translate them into SAP configurations.
• Provide support and training to end-users to enhance the efficiency of financial operations.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues within the SAP FICO modules, ensuring systems are functioning effectively.
• Participate in system upgrades and enhancements to continuously improve financial reporting and control processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in SAP FICO module with a solid understanding of financial principles.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration with various stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Familiarity with SAP integration processes with other modules (like MM and SD) is an advantage.
• Relevant SAP certification in Financial Accounting and Controlling is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools and data analytics.
• Project management skills and experience in managing large-scale system implementations.

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with SAP FICO in a consulting role or within a corporate finance team.
