Job Summary

The ETL Developer will play a pivotal role in designing and developing ETL workflows and processes using Ab Initio. This position is focused on ensuring data integrity and consistency, optimizing performance, and supporting data integration for business intelligence and analytics needs. The candidate will collaborate with team members to implement best practices in data integration and provide technical support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ETL workflows and processes using Ab Initio to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Perform data profiling, data quality analysis, and troubleshooting to ensure data integrity and consistency.
• Optimize Ab Initio jobs for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Develop and maintain data processing flows and support data integration for business intelligence and analytics needs.
• Work with other team members to implement and enforce best practices in data integration and ETL development.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues in a production environment as needed.
• Document processes, technical specifications, and maintain a knowledge base for future reference.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2-6 years of experience in ETL development with Ab Initio.
• Proficiency in Ab Initio components, including GDE, EME, Express>It, Continuous Flows, and other relevant modules.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database technologies, such as Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2.
• Understanding of data quality principles and experience in data validation.
• Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting ETL jobs.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
