Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled professional with expertise in Java Development and OpenShift to work on a contractual basis. In this role, you will be responsible for building, deploying, and managing Java applications in an OpenShift environment. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining and enhancing our deployment processes, ensuring reliable application performance and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy Java applications within an OpenShift environment.
• Design and implement application enhancements and modifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize system performance.
• Maintain high standards of software quality by following industry best practices.
• Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting complex issues and debugging applications.
• Ensure continuous improvement in deployment processes and system integration.

Qualifications

• Technical Skills: Proficient in Java Development and OpenShift.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Java development or related fields.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with modern software development tools and version control systems.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and practices.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in Java development and managing OpenShift deployments.
