Job Summary

The Manager - Strategic Partnerships & Alliances will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships. This position requires building and executing commercial relationships that enhance sales, distribution, customer acquisition, and brand reach. The successful candidate will identify and close partnerships independently, focusing on sustainable ecosystem value.

Responsibilities

  • Revenue Partnerships: Develop partnerships with banks, card companies, loyalty programs, fintech, telecom, airlines, and the travel ecosystem. Structure co-branded campaigns, bundled offerings, and member-exclusive experiences to enhance distribution.
  • Brand Collaborations & Co-Funded Campaigns: Build partnerships with lifestyle and adventure brands like Royal Enfield, Hyrox, Decathlon, GoPro, and Red Bull, focusing on commercial value rather than barter transactions.
  • Ecosystem & Community Partnerships: Engage with creators, startup ecosystems, colleges, coworking communities, and founders networks aimed at acquisition, awareness, and community-driven growth.
  • Pipeline & Commercial Execution: Create a strong outbound partnerships pipeline, negotiate commercials and campaign structures, and drive measurable outcomes from each partnership, beyond one-off campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5-9 years in strategic partnerships, business development, brand collaborations, or ecosystem partnerships.
  • Skills:
    • Strong commercial and negotiation abilities with a proven track record of closing deals.
    • An established network of brand managers, marketing heads, and partnership leads.
    • Ability to independently build and close partnerships without external support.
    • Fast-moving, entrepreneurial mindset capable of pitching partnership ideas succinctly.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across brands and internal teams.
  • Preferred Experience: Familiarity with consumer internet, travel, lifestyle brands, fintech, or media sectors.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with bank or card co-branded partnerships or loyalty integrations.
  • Proven track record at a mid-sized brand (Rs. 50-300 crore) where performance is merit-based.
  • Familiarity with creator-led or community partnership models would be advantageous.

Experience

  • A minimum of 5-9 years of relevant experience in strategic partnerships or business development.

Environment

  • The position is based in Mumbai or Gurgaon, requiring in-office attendance.

Salary

  • CTC: Rs. 30 Lakhs, plus performance bonus and Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs).
