Fusion PPM Consultant

Job Summary

The Fusion Projects Consultant will be responsible for configuring Fusion Projects (PPM) and understanding its capabilities, including downstream processes, connectivity with Fusion Financials, and integration with various systems. The role involves transforming business requirements into functional specifications and ensuring efficient data mapping between legacy systems and Fusion modules.

Responsibilities

  • Configure Fusion Projects (PPM) and understand its capabilities and integration with Fusion Financials.
  • Conduct CRP (Conference Room Pilot) sessions to evaluate and confirm functionality and requirements.
  • Map business requirements to Fusion configurations and define configuration documents.
  • Write functional specifications for extensions, integrations, and reports.
  • Develop a basic understanding of Fusion PPM, related APIs, FBDIs, and reporting tools (BIP & OTBI).
  • Familiarize with Fusion BPM workflows to enhance business processes.
  • Translate business requirements for integrations, extensions, conversions, and reports.
  • Define detailed functional and technical specifications using Fusion PPM and Financials APIs and FBDI integrations.
  • Create custom system processes and flows for integrated solutions.
  • Identify appropriate integration capabilities (API versus FBDI) for data conversion and onboarding.
  • Map data from legacy systems of Meta to Fusion PPM and Financial modules for accurate conversion.
  • Determine the right configurations for data conversion and cut-over strategies.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Oracle Fusion Projects (PPM).
    • Knowledge of APIs and FBDIs.
    • Experience with reporting tools such as BIP and OTBI.
    • Familiarity with Fusion BPM workflows.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Financials.
  • Background in project management methodologies.
  • Certification in Oracle Fusion applications.
