Job Summary

The Head of Technology and Engineering will lead the strategic direction, architecture, and execution of all technology development, engineering, and initiatives across hardware, firmware, platform, internal systems, and field technology operations. This role is vital in driving technology budgeting, management, scalability, modularity, cost-efficiency, and reliability across Kriti Labs' solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology management, including budgeting, monitoring, and optimization.
• Devise the technology roadmap encompassing development, engineering, maintenance, support, and deliverables aligned with product and platform requirements.
• Own the end-to-end technology stack, including architecture, design, and delivery of IoT platforms and devices, firmware, edge integrations, and cloud backend systems.
• Continuously evaluate technology trends to ensure the technology stack is upgraded and remains competitive.
• Drive improvements across the platform to reduce time-to-market and enhance maintainability.
• Provide technology leadership in Electronics development and engineering and IT development, focusing on both internal and external applications.
• Build and grow a multi-disciplinary engineering team (hardware, embedded, cloud, DevOps, software, QA).
• Establish sprint rituals, design review processes, deployment pipelines, and accountability for releases.
• Define and drive engineering Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for reliability, supportability, and scalability.
• Champion improvements in predictive maintenance and AI-enabled field service intelligence based on feedback from delivery and operations teams.
• Engage with CXO-level client stakeholders on technology proposals and discussions.

Qualifications

• Education:

  • B.E./B.Tech (Preferred); Master’s in Technology or a related field.

• Skill Set:

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in technology management and development.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to engage and manage stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong Communication: Excellent communication skills suitable for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Problem Solving: Proven track record in resolving complex technical issues.
