Company’s Name JM Financial Services Ltd Position/Function Branch Head Level(Range) Based on Current designation Department Equity Broking Group Job Summary The Branch Head is responsible for managing overall operations, business development, and profitability of the branch in the stockbroking sector. The role involves driving sales, managing client relationships, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading a team to achieve financial and operational targets. Key Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of stock markets, trading, and financial products. Business acumen with a target-driven approach. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong client relationship management and advisory skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets. Qualifications & Experience Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. Certifications: NISM Certifications (Series VIII - Equity Derivatives, Series V-A - Mutual Fund Distributors, etc.) are preferred. Experience: 15+ years in stockbroking, with at least 10+ years in a managerial role. Job Responsibility 1. Business Development & Revenue Growth Develop and implement strategies to achieve branch revenue targets. Acquire new clients and expand the customer base through effective sales and marketing initiatives. Promote various financial products like equities, derivatives, mutual funds, IPOs, and wealth management services. Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to enhance branch profitability 2. Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with HNI, retail, and institutional clients. Provide investment advice and solutions tailored to client needs. Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and address customer grievances efficiently. 3. Team Leadership & Performance Management. Lead, mentor, and motivate the branch team, including Unit Managers Area Sales Managers, Relationship managers, dealers, and support staff. Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team knowledge and sales effectiveness. Set performance goals and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs). 4. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure adherence to SEBI, stock exchange regulations, and internal company policies. Maintain proper records, KYC compliance, and regulatory reporting as per industry standards. Implement risk management strategies to minimize potential financial losses. 5. Branch Operations & Administration Oversee smooth day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and cost optimization. Manage cash flow, reporting, and operational audits for the branch. Coordinate with the back-office team to ensure seamless trade execution and client servicing.
