Associate Director (Technical Project Manager)

Job Summary

The Technical Project Manager will serve as a key interface between customers and the technical team, which includes hardware, software, and data science personnel. This role is critical in ensuring customer success and efficient product deployments by leading cross-functional teams and driving swift execution in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as the interface between customers and the technical team, fostering collaboration and communication.
• Collaborate closely with Software Engineering and Data Science teams to enhance customer success and ensure seamless product deployments.
• Function as the Scrum Master to lead a cross-functional pod of data science, machine learning, hardware, and software engineers for effective project execution.
• Spend time on planning, prioritizing, and tracking the activities of the pod to ensure timely deliverables and optimal performance.
• Drive technical problem-solving and practical troubleshooting within the engineering and data science teams.

Qualifications

• Education: B.Tech from IIT and MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, or Lucknow.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience working in top-tier consulting firms.
• Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, especially in the context of software and data science projects.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly in leveraging AI solutions.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in top-tier consulting firms, with a focus on cross-functional project management.
