Job Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will focus on identifying high-potential candidates who exhibit distinct "spikes" in their profiles. The role involves employing spike-based screening techniques to evaluate candidates based on academic achievements, relevant experience, and extracurricular activities, emphasizing outcomes rather than mere role descriptions.
Responsibilities
- Identify Candidates: Use spike-based screening to assess candidates on academic, experience, and extracurricular spikes.
- Evaluate Academic Excellence: Look for top percentile achievers, high CGPA holders, and candidates with significant competitive exam accomplishments.
- Assess Experience: Analyze candidates' internships, entrepreneurial initiatives, and measurable impact metrics in their previous roles.
- Extracurricular Assessment: Evaluate leadership roles in student bodies, scale events organized, and achievements in competitions or sports.
- Document Candidate Profiles: Provide a clear yes or no against each spike and include 2-3 bullet points as justification for each candidate shortlisted.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Analytical Skills: Strong capability to interpret academic and professional achievements quantitatively and qualitatively.
- Attention to Detail: Commitment to documenting and justifying candidate evaluations thoroughly.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate evaluations clearly.
- Decision-Making: Ability to make informed decisions based on defined criteria and candidate spikes.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building abilities with candidates and stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in recruiting for competitive industries or high-growth startups.
- Familiarity with various academic and professional competency frameworks.
- Ability to leverage technology and tools for candidate screening and evaluation.
Experience
- Prior experience in recruitment, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in talent assessment frameworks or competency-based interviewing is an advantage.
