.NET Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled .NET Developer with over 6 years of experience for a remote, contractual position. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust applications using the .NET Core and .NET Framework. You will play a key role in building and consuming RESTful APIs, ensuring code quality through effective unit testing, and leveraging Docker for containerization. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is essential. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using .NET Core and .NET Framework.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs to enable seamless integration with various services.
• Write effective unit tests using frameworks such as xUnit or NUnit to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Containerize applications using Docker for simplified deployment and environment consistency.
• Integrate and deploy solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications for performance and scalability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years professional experience as a .NET Developer.
• Proficiency in .NET Core and .NET Framework development.
• Strong experience with RESTful API development.
• Hands-on experience using unit testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit, NUnit).
• Proficient in Docker containerization for application deployment.
• Solid experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.

Experience
