Job Title: X-Ray/Medical Device/Capital Equipment Sales Specialist
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Hyderabad
Working Hours: Monday – Friday (11:00 AM to 7:00 PM)
Compensation: CTC 8-10 LPA + Variable Incentives (Quarterly & Annual)


About the Role

We seek a highly motivated and experienced X-Ray Sales Specialist to join our dynamic medical device distribution team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling an FDA- and CE-approved Ultraportable X-ray Device (Remescan) across Hyderabad. This is a field-based role that demands extensive travel and direct engagement with hospital stakeholders, including radiologists, doctors, biomedical teams, and procurement departments in both private and government sectors.


Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Achievement: Drive the sales of the Ultra Portable X-ray Device with a focus on achieving six-crore annual sales and a monthly target of 50 lacs or more.

  • Account Management: Identify, approach, and convert potential customers in hospitals, diagnostic centers, and biomedical departments.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with radiologists, doctors, biomedical engineers, and procurement teams.

  • Product Demonstration: Conduct detailed product demonstrations and presentations tailored to prospective clients’ needs.

  • Market Expansion: Proactively manage both private and government accounts to ensure a growing sales pipeline.

  • Event Participation: Represent the company at medical conferences, symposia, and CME-accredited events to enhance market presence and generate quality leads.

  • Reporting: Maintain comprehensive reports of sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights.

  • Travel & Expense Management: Travel daily for in-person meetings and ensure timely submission of travel expense claims with proper receipts.

  • Field Sales Requirement: Must be Hyderabad-based and ready to join immediately or within 15 days of the notice period.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a medical, sales, or a relevant discipline.

  • Professional Experience:

    • 2-3 years in Radiology, Medical Devices, Biomedical, or Digital Health Sales.

    • Prior experience selling X-ray machines, imaging devices, or similar medtech products is highly preferred.

  • Industry Insight: Solid understanding of hospital sales, procurement processes, and government tenders.

  • Preferred Experience:

    • Experience in capital equipment sales with the ability to close large deals (one crore and above).

    • Critical care or high-end equipment sales experience is an added advantage.

  • Strategic Account Management: Proficient in managing private and government accounts with a strategic approach to securing long-term business.

  • Negotiation & Closing: Strong negotiation skills with a history of closing large-scale deals, including those exceeding one crore.

  • Presentation & Demonstration: Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to articulate technical product features and benefits to diverse audiences.

  • Market Insight: Deep understanding of the medical device market, especially in radiology and capital equipment, enables anticipating customer needs and market trends.

  • Field Sales Expertise: Adept at working in dynamic field sales environments with the flexibility to travel and adapt to varying customer requirements.
