Analyst 1 Infrastructure Services

Job Summary

The Analyst 1 Infrastructure Services role is designed to support the organization's infrastructure by leveraging expertise in Linux and cloud technologies. This position is critical in ensuring the high availability and performance of infrastructure services, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux services such as NTP, SMTP, BIND, and Apache on cloud-deployed instances.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting on Linux systems (RedHat, SUSE, Ubuntu) to resolve issues efficiently.
• Manage server consolidation and virtualization efforts for hardware reduction and site migrations via V2V and P2V.
• Implement and administer Redhat Satellite server and Nagios Monitoring Fusion and XI server.
• Create and manage a highly available and scalable virtual and physical Linux infrastructure.
• Provide proactive ticketing workflow and queue management to ensure timely execution of tasks and maintain high-quality status updates.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in Linux server scripting (Shell/Perl) and automation technologies.
  • Knowledge of enterprise storage concepts and architecture, particularly 3PAR Technology.
  • Experience with VMware components including vCenter, VMware Update Manager, and vCenter Site Recovery Manager.
  • Familiarity with network tools such as iptables and Linux IPVS.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud technologies and services.
• Familiarity with fault tolerance and failure domains in infrastructure design.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years in a role delivering infrastructure services, with a focus on Linux and cloud technologies.

Environment

• Work setting is hybrid, with opportunities to work from home and in the office. Locations include Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Noida, and Gurugram.

Salary

• Estimated salary range: ₹1,000,000 per annum.
