Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Head of GT Sales to lead and expand our General Trade business across Jaipur and the surrounding markets. This role will drive sales growth, strengthen the distributor network, increase market penetration, and oversee on-ground sales execution.

Responsibilities

• Drive General Trade (GT) sales across Jaipur and a 250–300 km radius.
• Develop and expand the distributor and channel partner network.
• Manage and strengthen the existing distributor base while appointing new distributors.
• Drive primary and secondary sales to achieve business targets.
• Increase numeric and weighted distribution across the assigned territory.
• Lead, coach, and monitor the sales team to improve productivity and execution.
• Ensure effective implementation of sales strategies, trade schemes, and market activations.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key trade partners.
• Prepare sales forecasts, review business performance, and achieve revenue objectives.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in FMCG General Trade Sales.
• Strong experience in distribution management and channel sales.
• Proven track record of expanding distributor networks and driving business growth.
• Experience handling large GT territories and leading sales teams.
• Strong understanding of primary & secondary sales, Return to Market (RTM), and market development.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in developing and managing trade marketing strategies would be advantageous.
• Ability to analyze market trends and adjust strategies proactively.

Experience

• 10–15 years in relevant field, specifically in FMCG General Trade.

Environment

• The role is based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, with responsibilities extending to surrounding areas.
