Job Summary
The Oracle Financial Functional Consultant will play a critical role in providing expert guidance and support for Oracle Financial systems. This position involves optimizing financial processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and leveraging Oracle solutions to meet business needs. The consultant will contribute significantly to full-cycle implementations and ongoing enhancements of the financial management systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in at least two full-cycle implementations of Oracle EBS or Fusion Cloud Financials.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize finance business processes and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (GAAP/IFRS).
- Provide expert knowledge in Oracle R12 and/or Oracle Cloud Financials, focusing on modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management (CM).
- Manage integrations with third-party systems including banks, tax engines, payroll, and procurement solutions.
- Utilize methodologies such as AIM, OUM, or Oracle Unified Methodology for project execution and documentation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 8 years as an Oracle Financial Functional Consultant with proven experience in at least two full-cycle implementations of Oracle EBS or Fusion Cloud Financials.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of finance business processes and regulatory requirements (GAAP/IFRS).
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Oracle R12 and/or Oracle Cloud Financials (preferred modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, CM).
- Integration Experience: Exposure to integrations with third-party systems.
- Methodology Familiarity: Familiarity with AIM, OUM, or Oracle Unified Methodology.
Preferred Skills
- Certifications: Oracle Cloud Financials Certification(s).
- Reporting Tools Knowledge: Functional knowledge of Oracle Reporting tools (OTBI, FRS, Smart View, BI Publisher).
- Setups: Experience in Multi-Org, Multi-Currency, Multi-Ledger setups.
- Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of SOX compliance and internal controls.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong presentation, communication, and documentation skills.
- Management Skills: Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Experience
- A minimum of 8 years in a relevant role is required, with significant experience as an Oracle Financial Functional Consultant.
