Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SCCM & Intune Administrator with strong expertise in Windows endpoint management, patching, and vulnerability remediation. This role is responsible for maintaining the SCCM and Intune infrastructure, managing Windows devices, performing application and patch deployments, and collaborating closely with security teams to remediate vulnerabilities across the environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the SCCM infrastructure (site servers, Distribution Points, Management Points).
- Create and enhance Operating System Deployment task sequences, Windows images, and deployment workflows.
- Package and deploy Win32/MSI applications, manage software updates, and feature upgrades.
- Monitor SCCM client health, deployment success, and logs for troubleshooting.
- Manage collections, boundaries, Automatic Deployment Rules, and compliance baselines within SCCM.
- Implement Endpoint Security policies, including BitLocker, antivirus, firewall configurations, and Attack Surface Reduction rules.
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of hands-on experience administering SCCM/MECM and Intune for Windows endpoints.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Autopilot, Windows Update for Business (WUfB), Win32 app packaging & deployment, and compliance/configuration profiles.
- Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Qualys, Tenable, and Rapid7.
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and reporting purposes.
- Good understanding of Azure Active Directory, Active Directory Domain Services, Group Policy, and Windows architecture.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or higher.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Power BI for reporting and analytics.
- Experience in automating device configuration and application packaging tasks.
- Knowledge of advanced security tools and techniques for endpoint management.
Experience
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in software development/engineering, particularly in SCCM and Intune management.
Environment
- This position requires availability for the Canada Shift (5:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST).
- Main locations include Bangalore and Chennai.
