Performance Tester

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Performance Tester proficient in either JMeter or LoadRunner to join our team in Bangalore. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our applications through thorough testing methods. Your expertise will significantly contribute to delivering high-quality software that meets our clients' expectations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement performance testing strategies using JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Execute performance tests to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with developers and project managers to ensure performance criteria are met.
• Maintain and enhance performance test scripts for future testing cycles.
• Participate in root cause analysis for performance-related issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in performance testing.
• Strong proficiency in JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Knowledge of performance testing methodologies and best practices.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Groovy, Java, or Python.
• Understanding of application architecture, databases, and web services.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud performance testing.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Experience

• A minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in performance testing.
