Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Backend Developer with strong expertise in FastAPI, AWS services, MongoDB, and CI/CD practices. The primary goal of this role is to build scalable backend APIs, ensure secure integrations, and maintain high-quality cloud-native applications. The candidate should be proficient in RESTful API development, database optimization, authentication/authorization processes, and DevOps practices, contributing significantly to the organization’s technological objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust RESTful backend services using Python (FastAPI).
• Implement and optimize MongoDB interactions using ORMs like Motor, Beanie, or MongoEngine.
• Build and integrate backend systems with AWS services such as S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Configure and manage authentication/authorization with Keycloak for secure application access.
• Ensure code quality with unit, functional, and integration tests using pytest and related frameworks.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployments using GitLab.
• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-performing and scalable solutions.
• Apply secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and comply with OWASP standards.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Python development with FastAPI.
• Proven ability to design and maintain RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB using ORMs such as Motor, Beanie, or MongoEngine.
• Experience with AWS services: S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda, API Gateway.
• Authentication and authorization experience using Keycloak.
• Strong testing background with pytest (unit, functional, integration).
• Expertise in GitLab for version control, CI/CD, and automation.
• Educational qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• AWS certifications (Developer Associate, Solutions Architect, etc.).
• Experience with SonarQube or similar static code analysis tools.
• Familiarity with Grafana/Prometheus for logging and monitoring.
• Knowledge of secure coding guidelines and remediation for OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities (SQL Injection, XSS, CSRF, etc.).

Experience

6–8 years of relevant experience in backend development and cloud technologies.
