JOB DESCRIPTION Sales Manager Client Interaction & Enablement Role Purpose This is a senior, client-facing leadership role. You are responsible for leading client conversations, guiding decision-making, and building a sales team that operates with confidence, judgement, and integrity. This role values depth, clarity, and trust over volume. Key Responsibilities Client Leadership ● Lead high-quality client conversations end-to-end ● Understand core needs, budgets, and constraints ● Set expectations clearly and early ● Guide clients to informed decisions ● Act as a trusted advisor, not a transactional seller Destination & Product Expertise ● Demonstrate deep knowledge of select destinations ● Guide recommendations with confidence and realism ● Balance aspiration with feasibility ● Take responsibility for advice given Sales Leadership ● Lead and develop the sales team ● Build capability, not dependency ● Set clear standards for client handling and conduct ● Support team members in closing well-aligned business ● Ensure consistency as the team scales Commercial Discipline ● Protect margins and pricing integrity ● Ensure what is sold is operationally sound ● Maintain strong coordination with Operations and Product teams Leadership KPIs ● Team performance consistency ● Quality of client outcomes ● Team capability development ● Retention and team stability ● Sales discipline and governance Knowledge Requirements ● Strong understanding of travel products, packages, and destination knowledge ● First-hand travel experience and practical exposure to key destinations ● Knowledge of B2B and B2C sales processes within the travel industry ● Familiarity with pricing strategies, revenue management, and margin optimization ● Understanding of client acquisition, account management, and retention strategies ● Knowledge of CRM systems and sales tracking tools ● Awareness of market trends, competitor analysis, and industry developments ● Understanding of contract negotiation and partnership management ● Proficiency in reporting, MIS, and performance analysis This Role Is Not For You If ● You rely on scripts or pressure tactics ● You avoid difficult client or team conversations ● You prefer individual wins over team success ● You lack destination depth or commercial judgement
