Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to manage end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities for production requirements. The candidate will be responsible for vendor management, inventory coordination, cost optimization, and ensuring uninterrupted material availability to support smooth plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement & Supply Management
Identify and source raw materials, components, consumables, and packaging materials required for production.
Ensure timely procurement to avoid production delays and stock shortages.
Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to maintain optimum inventory levels.
Track purchase orders, delivery schedules, and material availability.
Monitor market trends and identify alternate sourcing opportunities.
Vendor & Supplier Management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Evaluate suppliers based on quality, pricing, delivery timelines, and compliance standards.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms to achieve cost efficiency.
Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and ensure continuous improvement.
Identify and onboard new vendors as per business requirements.
Cost Control & Budgeting
Monitor procurement expenses against approved budgets.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction through bulk procurement, vendor consolidation, and long-term agreements.
Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and approval processes.
Prepare procurement reports, MIS, and spend analysis for management review.
Required Skills:
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
Knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management
Understanding of supply chain and sourcing strategies
Good analytical and cost optimization abilities
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
Strong coordination and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field
Experience in manufacturing, packaging, FMCG, or industrial procurement preferred
