Sr. EDI Consultant

Job Summary

The Sr. EDI Consultant will be responsible for providing application support for the Business Integration Suite, including classic product support and operational monitoring within the scope of SEEBURGER Remote Services. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful technical operations of the enterprise Managed File Transfer and EDI platforms, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide application support for the SEEBURGER Business Integration Suite, including installation, configuration, and deployment of solutions.
• Ensure operational stability and monitor the performance of the SEEBURGER BIS suite and other integration products.
• Assist in production issue resolution, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting in globally distributed systems.
• Review logs for user activity and maintain application stability through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
• Collaborate with customers to improve SEEBURGER solutions and assist with software updates and system analysis.
• Solve data quality and adapter/connectivity issues, ensuring effective communication with customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years in SEEBURGER BIS suites or similar integration products.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in internet protocols (TCP/IP, LDAP/LDAPS, SSL/TLS).
  • Knowledge of production support levels (L1, L2, L3) and technical issue resolution.
  • Familiarity with EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and message formats (JSON, XML).
  • Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and database systems (DB2, Oracle, SQL).
  • Strong understanding of network connectivity and communication protocols (AS2, FTP, SFTP).
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, to interact effectively with customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a culturally diverse environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with B2B/MFT/API/ESB solutions (TIBCO, Software AG, IBM, Axway, Mulesoft).
• Familiarity with middleware technologies (Websphere, Weblogic, Tomcat).
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Development (CICD) practices.
• Certifications in security, cloud, and agile development.
• Experience with incident management and IT service applications.

Experience

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in SEEBURGER BIS suites and other integration products.
