Landscape Architect

Job Summary

The Landscape Architect will be responsible for reviewing and verifying landscape designs proposed by external architects, ensuring they meet project requirements. This role involves collaboration with various teams and consultants to recommend design options, manage landscape outputs, and ensure quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify landscape designs proposed by external landscape architects for correctness and compliance with project requirements.
• Interface with design managers, regional cross-functional teams, and the Head Office design team, along with external design consultants.
• Recommend design options for specific green field projects.
• Coordinate the complete landscape output of marketing collaterals, including renders, audio-visual materials, and models.
• Manage landscape design and quality for marketing offices and show apartments in alignment with product positioning.
• Provide design briefs and detailed requirements to consultants.
• Follow up and continuously track submissions to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with the design manager to file required documentation as per schedule.
• Collaborate with external consultants for applying for necessary certifications.
• Work with project teams during the execution of landscape designs and monitor progress to ensure adherence to design briefs and norms.
• Conduct site visits as required to assess project progress.
• Prepare templates for standardization of landscape design across regions, including material lists and design standards.
• Compile and update templates/circulars as specified.
• Adhere to company-defined guidelines and processes while meeting project timelines.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, costs, and productivity.
• Undertake self-development activities through training, education, and project involvement.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualification: Graduate in B. Architecture or Master’s in Landscape Architecture.
• Experience: 8-12 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of landscape design principles and practices.
• Proficiency in design software and tools relevant to landscape architecture.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Strong project management skills to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with local authority regulations and certification processes.
