Job Summary

The Junior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) role is designed for entry-level finance professionals who are eager to develop their analytical skills in a corporate setting. The position aims to contribute to the financial health of the organization by assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Support the senior FP&A team in assessing business performance and identifying trends.
• Prepare variance analyses to compare forecasted results to actual performance.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and insights.
• Maintain and update financial models and executive dashboards.
• Assist in ad-hoc financial analysis projects as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Basic knowledge of financial principles and accounting practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling techniques.

Experience

• Entry-level position; no prior FP&A experience is required, but internships or coursework in finance or related fields are advantageous.
