Position Overview

The Research and Program Manager will oversee market research, product development programs, and operational excellence. The role focuses on aligning brand strategy with consumer trends, ensuring efficient project execution, and fostering innovation in product design and development.


Key Responsibilities

Market Research

  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify consumer trends, preferences, and emerging markets.
  • Monitor competitors, industry innovations, and market dynamics to guide product strategies.
  • Develop customer personas and purchase behavior insights through surveys, focus groups, and data analysis.

Program Management

  • Lead cross-functional teams in developing new product lines, ensuring on-time delivery within budget.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, workflows, and status updates for stakeholders.

 

Product Development

  • Collaborate with the design team to incorporate research insights into handbag collections.
  • Test prototypes and oversee quality assurance processes to align with market needs and brand standards.
  • Innovate sustainable materials and techniques to enhance product value and reduce environmental impact.

Strategic Planning

  • Identify opportunities for expansion into new regions or customer segments.
  • Recommend pricing strategies based on market research and financial analysis.
  • Contribute to brand storytelling by aligning product offerings with brand vision and mission.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Fashion Management, Market Research, or related fields.
  • 2+ years of experience in research, program management, or product development, preferably in the luxury goods / Lifestyle sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in market research tools and data interpretation.
  • Exceptional project management skills, including proficiency in tools like Trello, Asana, or MS Project.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams.
  • Passion for luxury fashion and understanding of the Indian and global markets.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of sustainable practices in fashion.
  • Experience with consumer behavior analytics or AI-driven insights.
