Job Summary
As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead the product lifecycle in the realm of securing sensitive data. You will play a pivotal role in identifying market needs, collaborating closely with sales and engineering to craft and deliver high-quality features that redefine enterprise security practices.
Responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap from discovery to general availability (GA) release.
- Conduct regular customer interviews and market research to uncover and validate new use cases.
- Collaborate with sales, presales, and customer success teams to transform field intelligence into prioritized roadmap items.
- Create clear Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user experience briefs, and acceptance criteria for engineering and design compatibility.
- Define and monitor product Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), adoption metrics, and success criteria alongside engineering and go-to-market (GTM) teams.
- Manage multiple tracks across various environments including cloud, SaaS, endpoint, and on-premises without compromising quality or release cadence.
- Plan go-to-market strategies for product launches, focusing on positioning, differentiation, and enablement.
- Continuously assess the competitive landscape within Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Digital Asset Management (DAM), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), and AI security.
Qualifications
- 5 to 7 years of product management experience, specifically with B2B security or infrastructure products.
- Proven track record of independently managing a product line and being accountable for outcomes.
- Experience with full cycle product ownership: discovery, validation, UX, engineering handoff, and release.
- Strong customer interviewing abilities, including structured discovery methods and hypothesis testing.
- Proficiency in writing precise and technically accurate PRDs while maintaining clarity on both problems and solutions.
- Comfort in collaborating with diverse teams across sales, engineering, design, and customer success.
- Data-driven prioritization skills, utilizing frameworks without being overly reliant on them.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to various audiences, including CISOs and technical engineers.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Digital Asset Management (DAM), insider risk, or AI security products.
- Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS RDS/Aurora, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, Amazon S3, Snowflake, or similar.
- Understanding of compliance frameworks like PCI DSS, Data Protection and Digital Privacy Act (DPDPA), ISO 27001, or NIST.
- Experience in early-stage startups that operate with limited resources and rapid iteration cycles.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years in product management with a focus on security or infrastructure products.
