Company Overview

Khetika Foods is building a differentiated farm-to-table staples and packaged foods platform focused on conscious farming, clean sourcing, and scalable distribution. The company is backed by Ayra Ventures and has a mandate to build and scale General Trade across North India for the spices portfolio.

Job Summary

The Regional Sales Manager will play a crucial role in driving General Trade (GT) expansion across North India, focusing specifically on Delhi, Uttar Pradesh (UP), and Rajasthan. This position involves building and scaling distribution for the spices category within packaged foods/staples, enhancing market execution, and leading regional sales growth.

Responsibilities

  • Drive GT expansion across North India, specifically targeting Delhi, UP, and Rajasthan.
  • Build and scale distribution from the ground up across core GT channels.
  • Lead regional sales growth for the spices category within packaged foods/staples.
  • Build, manage, and strengthen distributor and field sales teams.
  • Drive market execution, outlet expansion, visibility, and secondary sales.
  • Partner closely with leadership on regional GT strategy and execution.

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of FMCG sales experience in packaged foods, staples, or spices.
  • Mandatory experience in the spices category.
  • Strong General Trade exposure in North India, preferably in Delhi, UP, or Rajasthan.
  • Experience with Tier-2/Tier-3 FMCG or emerging challenger brands is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to build GT operations and teams from scratch.
  • Strong execution orientation and distributor management capability.

  • Leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Strategic thinking in sales and marketing.
  • Familiarity with market analytics and performance metrics.

Experience

  • 5–10 years of relevant experience in FMCG sales, ideally with substantial exposure to the spices category.

Environment

The role is focused on driving sales and market presence in North India, primarily in a field-based capacity requiring frequent travel across the regions of Delhi, UP, and Rajasthan.
