Job Summary
The Director of Product Engineering for Digital and Content Management Engineering will drive the technical strategy for content creation and approval, enhancing customer digital engagement through omnichannel approaches. This role is crucial in ensuring alignment with business goals, industry regulations, and customer needs while adhering to local and global privacy regulations.
Responsibilities
- Drive the technical strategy for content creation and approval, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Provide delivery oversight, vendor oversight, design authority, and service management for applications in scope.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of customer journeys leveraging Adobe, Salesforce, Tealium, and social media solutions to improve customer engagement.
- Manage end-to-end product lifecycles, from conceptualization and architecture to deployment and ongoing optimization, ensuring high standards of quality, scalability, and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to Pharma industry regulations (e.g., GxP, HIPAA) and local/global regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, Accessibility) by embedding compliance in digital customer journeys.
- Lead the integration of digital marketing technology (MarTech) with sales and commercial platforms through cloud technologies, ensuring solutions are cloud-native, scalable, and resilient.
- Collaborate with MarTech vendors to monitor system performance, identify improvement opportunities, and optimize license consumption, reliability, and security.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Strong technical skills in cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Experience with Adobe, Salesforce, Tealium, and other digital engagement tools.
- In-depth knowledge of Pharma industry regulations (GxP, HIPAA) and data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA).
- Excellent leadership and project management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.

- Experience in a hybrid work environment.

- Knowledge of data security and compliance standards.
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in product engineering or related fields, with a focus on digital and content management.
