Job Title: HR Manager

Department: Human Resources

Location: Smart Vision

Reports To: Director

Job Purpose

To lead and manage the Human Resources function of the hospital, ensuring effective recruitment, employee engagement, compliance, performance management, and smooth HR operations aligned with healthcare standards.

  1. Talent Acquisition & Hiring (Core Focus Area)

    Lead end-to-end recruitment for critical roles including Doctors, Surgeons, Optometrists, Nursing, OT In charges, Pharmacists, Managers/Executives-Patient Care, Sales, Business Development,  Insurance, IT, Front Desk, Tele Callers, Centre Managers, Office Staff. Develop proactive hiring strategies for niche and hard-to-fill clinical roles Build strong talent pipelines through consultants, referrals, and campus hiring Reduce time-to-hire and improve quality of hire Ensure structured onboarding and smooth induction for all new employees

  2. Performance Management System (PMS) (Core Focus Area)

    Design and implement a transparent and KPI-driven PMS for clinical and non-clinical staff Define role-based KPIs such as:

     Patient satisfaction scores 
     Surgery success rates 
     OPD/IPD efficiency 
     Revenue per consultant 
    

    Drive goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual appraisal cycles Train managers on objective performance evaluation and feedback mechanisms Link performance outcomes with rewards, increments, and career progression

  3. Employee Engagement & Retention (Core Focus Area)

    Design and execute employee engagement initiatives to improve morale and retention Conduct regular employee feedback surveys and action planning Implement recognition programs (Employee of the Month, Clinical Excellence Awards, etc.) Drive a culture of appreciation, collaboration, and accountability Address grievances proactively and maintain a positive work environment

  4. Learning & Development

    Identify skill gaps, especially in patient handling and clinical coordination Design training programs for medical and support staff Promote continuous learning culture within the hospital

  5. HR Operations & Compliance

    Ensure smooth HR operations including attendance, payroll coordination, and documentation Maintain compliance with labor laws and hospital regulations Support audits (NABH or internal quality audits) Develop and implement HR policies (leave, working hours, code of conduct, etc.)

  6. HR Analytics & Reporting

    Track and report key HR metrics:

     Attrition rate 
     Hiring turnaround time 
     Engagement scores 
     PMS completion rate 
    

    Use HR data to drive strategic decisions

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of healthcare HR practices 
Knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance 
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
Ability to manage sensitive situations with empathy 
Strong organizational and leadership skills 

Educational Qualification

MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent 

Experience Required

7–12 years of HR experience 
Preferably Male with experience in healthcare / hospital industry and have worked closely with Promoters 
Hands on experience in using the recruitment portals (Naukri, Indeed, linkedin, Apna etc)
Languages Known - Telugu, English, Hindi
