SAP BW Development and Reporting Consultant

Job Summary

This role is responsible for developing and maintaining SAP BW solutions alongside robust reporting frameworks using SAP BusinessObjects. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP MM data structures and business processes, delivering end-to-end reporting solutions that support source-to-report workflows. Additionally, the role requires flexibility to operate under a Managed Services Operating Model, with availability during EST time zones, including before and after standard business hours.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAP BW data models to support business reporting needs.
• Design and implement SAP BusinessObjects solutions, including creating Web Intelligence reports and Universe designs.
• Analyze and integrate SAP MM data structures and business processes into reporting solutions.
• Manage end-to-end reporting workflows from source data integration to report generation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure timely delivery of reporting solutions.
• Adapt to a Managed Services Operating Model, ensuring availability during EST hours outside standard working times.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with SAP BW Development.
• Strong skills in SAP BusinessObjects (Web Intelligence, Universe Design, etc.).
• In-depth understanding of SAP MM data structures and associated business processes.
• Proven record of delivering end-to-end reporting solutions from source to report.
• Ability to work flexibly under a Managed Services Operating Model with EST time requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Educational qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (BSc/MSc preferred).

Preferred Skills

• Additional certifications in SAP or other Business Intelligence tools.
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of SAP BW reports.
• Familiarity with additional SAP modules or related ERP systems.

Experience
