Sales Development Representative
Job Summary
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities in target accounts. This role is critical in helping the company meet its revenue goals by generating leads and nurturing them through the early stages of the sales funnel.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and Generate Leads: Identify potential clients through research and outreach activities.
- Qualify Leads: Engage with leads to understand their needs and determine their potential as a sales opportunity.
- Collaborate with Sales Team: Work closely with the sales team to develop and implement lead generation strategies.
- Manage CRM: Maintain up-to-date information on prospects and interactions in the CRM system.
- Follow-Up: Conduct timely follow-ups with leads to move them through the sales pipeline.
- Report: Provide regular reports on lead generation activities and results to the sales manager.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales or customer-facing role.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build relationships and network.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
Preferred Skills
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the industry or market of the company.
- Multilingual: Ability to speak multiple languages.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and trends to make informed decisions.
Experience
A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is required, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Environment
This position is based in Bangalore and is a full-time role. The Sales Development Representative will work in an office environment with the possibility of occasional remote work.
