Job Summary
The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing software solutions tailored to meet organizational needs, particularly within Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and SAP environments. This role is crucial for enhancing systems related to employee data management and ensures that software integrates seamlessly with existing technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software solutions within HRIS, specifically using SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for system enhancements.
- Design and implement integration solutions using SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and middleware technologies.
- Create and maintain technical documentation to support the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to continuous improvement practices within the team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software development, particularly in HRIS or SAP environments.
- Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and CPI (Cloud Platform Integration), or similar middleware.
- Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and integration patterns.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Skills
- Additional experience in other HRIS tools or platforms may be advantageous.
- Knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks relevant to specific projects.
Experience
- A minimum of 7 years in software development with a strong focus on HRIS and SAP integrations.
