Job Summary

This role involves developing and managing continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, leveraging cloud infrastructure, and programming in languages such as Python, C#, Scala, or PL/SQL. The candidate will work within an agile team environment, contributing to the automation and optimization of development processes, and supporting cloud-based platform services. The position supports the organization’s goals by enhancing deployment efficiency, ensuring robust cloud infrastructure management, and fostering team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Pivotal Concourse, or similar platforms.
• Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions, primarily on Amazon Web Services (AWS), with a focus on Platform as a Service (PaaS) offerings.
• Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker to streamline application deployment and scalability.
• Write and maintain code in Python, C#, Scala, or PL/SQL to support automation and integration tasks.
• Collaborate within an agile team, following SCRUM/Agile development practices to deliver iterative improvements.
• Document design options and decisions clearly, presenting them effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in developing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Pivotal Concourse, or equivalent tools.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform and understanding of PaaS offerings.
• Strong experience with containerization technologies, especially Docker.
• Programming skills in one or more of the following languages: Python, C#, Scala, or PL/SQL.
• Familiarity with SCRUM/Agile methodologies and ability to work effectively in agile teams.
• Excellent communication skills for documentation and presentations.
• Ability to mentor and coach junior engineers.
• Educational qualifications typically include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automated testing technologies.
• Knowledge of Pipeline as Code techniques using Groovy and declarative pipeline syntax.
• Awareness of functional programming concepts and technologies such as Scala, Akka, Camel.
• Familiarity with messaging frameworks like Kafka, Active MQ, and EMS.
• Strong mentoring and leadership capabilities.

Experience

• Relevant experience in CI/CD pipeline development and cloud infrastructure management.
• Practical experience working in agile development environments.
• Experience with containerization and programming in the specified languages.

Salary

• Estimated salary: ₹1,840,000 INR per annum
