Job Summary

The Logistics & Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing end-to-end warehousing and logistics operations within the organization. The role focuses on ensuring efficient inventory management, warehouse operations, transportation planning, and timely order fulfillment. The position aims to drive operational excellence, cost optimization, and seamless supply chain execution, contributing to the company's growth in the FMCG, Consumer Goods, D2C, Retail, or E-commerce industries.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, storage, dispatch, and inventory control.
• Oversee logistics operations to ensure timely deliveries and transportation efficiency.
• Coordinate with 3PL partners, transporters, and warehouse service providers to meet service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Monitor inventory accuracy through regular stock reconciliations, cycle counts, and audits.
• Drive OTIF (On-Time In-Full) performance and improve order fulfillment efficiency.
• Ensure accurate GRN processing, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch operations.
• Optimize warehouse layout, storage utilization, and material handling processes.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Planning, Sales, Customer Service, and Finance teams for seamless supply chain execution.
• Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Track KPIs such as inventory accuracy, warehouse productivity, dispatch turnaround time, fill rate, and transportation performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and statutory guidelines within warehouse operations.
• Lead, mentor, and manage warehouse and logistics teams to achieve operational excellence.
• Handle escalations related to deliveries, inventory discrepancies, and warehouse operations.
• Support ERP/WMS implementation and process automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
• Experience: 6 – 10 years of experience in warehouse and logistics operations within FMCG, Consumer Goods, Retail, D2C, or E-commerce.
