Job Summary
The Java Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications. This role is crucial for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet client needs and enhance user experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Java applications based on project requirements.
- Conduct code reviews and maintain code quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them to improve processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on one or more programming languages such as Java or Python.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or similar.
- Knowledge of database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and SQL.
- Experience working with event-driven architectures.
- Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
