Job Summary:

 

Role will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, scalability, and excellence in our technology infrastructure. You will lead and mentor a team of in-house and vendor developers, ensuring the successful execution of projects that support our web platform, customer engagement tools, and backend systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Team Leadership:

• Build and lead a talented engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.
• Effectively manage both in-house and vendor developers, ensuring project deadlines and quality standards are met.

 

Technology Strategy:

 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement the technology roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement the latest technologies and best practices to improve system performance, scalability, and security.
• Ensure seamless integration and optimization of Webengage, Shopify Plus, AWS Server, and PHP-based middleware.

 

Project Management:

 

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies.

 

System Reliability and Performance:

 

• Maintain the AWS server infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
• Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and system outages.
• Implement disaster recovery and backup strategies to safeguard data.

 

Vendor Management:

 

• Collaborate with third-party vendors and partners to ensure the successful integration and operation of external services and tools.
• Negotiate contracts, monitor service-level agreements (SLAs), and manage vendor relationships effectively.

 

Qualifications:

 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing engineering teams in a technology-driven environment.
• Strong technical background with expertise in web technologies, AWS, PHP, and e-commerce platforms (Shopify Plus preferred).
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects concurrently.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with customer engagement and marketing tools (e.g., Webengage) is a plus.
• Proven ability to make data-driven decisions and drive process improvements.
