Java Back End Developer

Job Summary

The Java Back End Developer will contribute to the development and maintenance of compliance platforms. This role involves being part of Scrum teams located in Chennai and Bangalore, focusing on platform development and overseeing the complete product life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend components using Java, with a strong emphasis on the Spring Framework, Spring Boot, JPA, Spring Batch, and Spring REST.
• Collaborate with Scrum teams to integrate microservices frameworks as per Java backend requirements.
• Contribute to the complete product lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Engage in code reviews to maintain high-quality code and follow industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in Java Backend Development with a focus on Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with JPA, Spring Batch, and Spring REST.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Certifications: Certifications in Java or related technologies are a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.

Experience

Minimum of five years of professional experience in Java Backend Development, specifically with Spring Framework and related technologies.

• Location: Bangalore and Chennai.
