Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Integration Specialist to connect SAP S/4HANA with AI-driven applications. This role will focus on creating SAP queries, API calls, and integration components while leveraging SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) capabilities and possibly, SAP Joule. This is a contract position with the potential to evolve into a broader (multi-product / multi-platform), longer-term engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and test SAP OData services, CDS views, BAPIs, or API calls required for integrating non-SAP systems with SAP S/4HANA modules.
• Build and manage integrations through SAP BTP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh, etc.).
• Translate business requirements into SAP-compatible queries and API endpoints that can be consumed by the client applications.
• Collaborate with our Engineering and Product Management teams to integrate SAP data with the application's integrations, intelligence, context, and workflows.
• Document all integration workflows, APIs, and configurations for internal and external use.
• Optimize queries and integration flows for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience with SAP S/4HANA integration (OData, CDS views, BAPIs, RFCs, or SAP APIs).
• Hands-on expertise with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), particularly, SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration / CPI, API Management, Event Mesh).
• Experience using SAP Business Accelerator Hub for identifying and utilizing standard SAP APIs and integration packages.
• Experience with PI/PO or migration of PI/PO flows to BTP Integration Suite.
• Extension development experience on BTP.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns (REST, SOAP, JSON, authentication tokens, middleware).
• Ability to optimize performance of SAP queries and services for real-time consumption.
• Experience using API testing tools (Postman, SOAP UI, or equivalent).
• Proficient in debugging and monitoring via SAP tools (ST22, ST12, SLG1, etc.).
• Familiarity with SAP business modules such as Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Materials Management (MM), or Sales & Distribution (SD) is desirable.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Angular or React knowledge for frontend integration.
• Experience with cloud-based integrations and microservices architecture.

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in SAP S/4HANA integration.

Environment

• Remote work setting.
• Shift Timing: 4 PM to 12 AM.
