About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the development and customization of
Enterprise Learning Management SaaS platform. This role will oversee a team of full-stack
developers, coordinate custom client implementations, and ensure high-quality delivery using a modern
Microsoft stack (.NET 8, Azure, SQL Server, REST APIs). The ideal candidate will have a strong technical
background in enterprise software systems and experience managing teams in a fast-paced, customer-
driven environment.

Customization & Delivery
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of full-stack developers (front-end & back-end).
Allocate resources effectively to support ongoing product development and client-specific
customizations.
Conduct performance reviews, foster growth, and uphold development best practices.
Provide architectural guidance for scalable, secure, and maintainable systems using .NET 8, Azure, and
SQL Server.
Oversee the development and integration of RESTful APIs.
Ensure platform reliability and maintainability through robust engineering and DevOps processes.
Manage and prioritize customer-specific platform customizations, ensuring alignment with core product
strategy.
Collaborate with Product Managers and Implementation teams to define technical solutions for customer
requirements.
Oversee timelines, scope, and quality of deliverables for both platform development and enterprise-
level implementations.

Process & Quality Management
Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams including Sales Engineering, Customer
Success, and Product.
Support pre-sales activities by advising on technical feasibility and customization efforts.
Drive continuous improvement through code reviews, test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile
methodologies.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, data security, and privacy regulations (e.g., FERPA, GDPR).
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Expertise
Proficient in .NET 8 / C#
SQL Server
REST API design
Strong experience with Azure cloud services (App Services, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, etc.).
Solid understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and multi-tenant SaaS architecture.

Experience

Exposure to learning standards (SCORM, xAPI) or LMS integration (LTI, SSO).

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
8+ years of software development experience.
3+ years in a technical leadership or engineering management role.
Experience in EdTech or enterprise SaaS platforms is a plus.
