<p><b>Main Responsibilities</b></p> <p>This role calls for a hands-on <b>Sr Engineering Manager </b>who will also be the Site</p> <p>lead for our Bengaluru development team as we build the team.</p> <p>The ideal candidate has the following abilities.</p> <p>&bull; Has around <b>5 plus years of experience as an Engineering Management</b></p> <p><b>Leader in the Software domain</b> (ideally with experience spanning medium to</p> <p>large scale organizations and with early stage startups which exposes the</p> <p>candidate to different challenges)</p> <p>&bull; <b>Is Hands-on</b> - has the ability to get into the minute details of the design,</p> <p>architecture or the codebase and help guide engineers in areas where they</p> <p>face challenges.</p> <p>&bull; <b>Breadth of Skills - </b>has the ability to manage engineers that have different</p> <p>skillsets such as UI Engineering, DevOps, Backend Engineering, AI</p> <p>Engineering and Customer Engineering. This role would need to have</p> <p>previous exposure either as an engineer or as a manager spanning at least a</p> <p>majority of these functions.</p> <p>Ideally has built or led teams building <b>AI first applications</b>. At the very least should</p> <p>be AI curious and have a minimum of 2 years plus experience around ML/AI based</p>
