Job Summary
The Assistant Manager/Manager – Talent Acquisition & Retention will support the technical and functional recruitment as well as specialized technical roles for North America. This role requires proven expertise in closing positions within defined turnaround times (TATs), effective stakeholder management, and innovative thinking.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for high-volume shopfloor hiring and specialized technical roles for North America operations.
- Source, screen, and shortlist candidates through multiple recruitment channels, including job portals, social media, employee referrals, and vendor networks.
- Ensure timely closure of positions within defined TATs.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to understand role requirements, workforce planning, and hiring priorities.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for recurring and critical positions.
- Conduct initial candidate assessments and schedule interviews with relevant stakeholders.
- Manage stakeholder communication and provide regular updates on hiring progress, challenges, and market insights.
- Work closely with external consultants and recruitment partners to ensure quality and timely delivery of profiles.
- Maintain recruitment data, trackers, and reports (on HRMS software as well as Excel MIS) with high accuracy and confidentiality.
- Drive innovative sourcing strategies and process improvements to enhance hiring effectiveness and candidate experience.
- Ensure adherence to Recruitment Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and aligned processes.
Qualifications
- MBA/PGDM in HR or a related field.
- 10-15 years of experience in talent acquisition with proven success in pharmaceutical hiring.
- Expertise in handling bulk/volume hiring along with specialist/niche recruitment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to think out of the box and implement innovative sourcing strategies.
- Experience with HRMS software for recruitment tracking.
Experience
10-15 years of experience in talent acquisition, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry, with demonstrated success in both bulk and specialized hiring.
Environment
- The position will require working in the second shift, from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
- Based in Thane.
Salary
- Total Cost to Company (TCTC): 20 Lakhs (Fixed: 18 Lakhs, Variable Pay Plan Amount: 2 Lakhs).
