Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated, meticulous, and proactive Chartered Accountant to join our core Finance and Accounting team as Senior Manager – Finance & Compliance, reporting directly to the Fund CFO. This role requires a sharp professional who can seamlessly balance robust fund accounting, tax advisory, and strict compliance management. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of rigorous training from a Big 5 firm and hands-on expertise in the Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Fund Accounting: Oversee and manage end-to-end fund accounting, Management Information Systems (MIS), financial statement preparations (Quarterly & Annual - IFRS and AS), audit coordination and finalization, and working capital management.
- Compliance: Manage all compliances including direct and indirect tax compliance, AIF SEBI compliances, transaction (investment & sale) review from a regulatory perspective, timely update of compliance checklist, and coordinate with consultants.
- Investor Related: Oversee and manage capital calls, distributions, NAV calculations, Statements of Account (SOA), investor queries, management fee computation, investor register, coordinate with Registrar and Transfer Agent (RTA), and assist in preparation of investor reports.
Qualifications
- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Overall Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in finance, core accounting, and tax compliance.
- Big 5 Framework: Minimum 3 years of foundational experience working within a Big 5 firm.
- Domain Expertise: Minimum 2 years of dedicated experience working in Fund Accounting, Tax Advisory, or the Compliance team of an AIF Fund (or specialized within a Big 5 firm catering to the AIF/Private Equity sector).

- Problem-Solving & Positive Attitude: A constructive approach to navigating complex regulatory frameworks and tight deadlines.
- Communication: Exceptional written and oral communication skills in both English and Hindi to coordinate with cross-functional teams, external partners, and authorities.
- Tech-Savvy: Strong proficiency in advanced Excel, accounting software, and modern financial management tools.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience is required, with specific experience in the AIF ecosystem and Big 5 firms.
Environment
This position is based in Gurgaon and is a full-time role reporting directly to the Fund CFO.
