Intern - Inside Sales

Job Summary

The Intern - Inside Sales will play a key role in supporting the sales team by identifying potential leads, conducting outreach, and assisting with the sales process. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in sales and business development, and who are eager to learn the fundamentals of inside sales within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in lead generation through research and outreach via phone, email, and social media.
  • Support the sales team with client follow-ups and maintaining customer databases.
  • Participate in sales presentations and meetings as needed.
  • Help prepare sales materials and proposals.
  • Record and track sales activities and outcomes using CRM tools.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve individual and team sales goals.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor or Masters degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Previous internship or project experience in sales or marketing.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Experience

  • Minimum Experience: 0 years (Freshers are welcome)
  • No prior experience required; training will be provided.

Environment

  • Full-time, internship position.
  • Location: HSR Layout, Bengaluru.

Salary

  • ₹60,000 - ₹1,20,000 per annum
