Job Summary

The Mongo DB Database Administrator (DBA) will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing MongoDB databases. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability and performance of database systems that support the organization's applications and services.

Responsibilities

• Manage MongoDB instances in production, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Perform regular database monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Implement backup and recovery strategies to prevent data loss.
• Collaborate with development teams to design effective database structures.
• Ensure security measures are in place to protect sensitive data.
• Provide support for database migrations and upgrades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3 to 4 years of experience in MongoDB administration.
• Strong knowledge of database performance metrics and monitoring tools.
• Proficiency in data modeling and schema design.
• Experience in backup and recovery procedures for MongoDB.
• Familiarity with MongoDB security features and configurations.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other database technologies such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Scripting knowledge in languages like Python or Bash.
• Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions.

Experience

• 3 to 4 years of relevant experience as a Mongo DB DBA.

Environment

• The position is based in Pune and is expected to be in-office.

Salary

• Budget of 10 LPA (Lakhs per Annum).
