Job Summary

The Servicenow Developer will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining ServiceNow applications and modules. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring that solutions meet organizational needs and adhere to industry best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Design and Development: Design and develop ServiceNow applications and modules, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
  • Customization: Customize and configure workflows, forms, fields, scripts, business rules, UI policies, and other ServiceNow components.
  • Module Configuration: Experience in configuring various ServiceNow Customer Service Management (CSM), Agile, and Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) modules.
  • Integration: Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications as needed, developing and maintaining integrations using web services, APIs, and other integration technologies.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, business analysts, and quality assurance teams, to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct unit testing and participate in quality assurance activities to ensure the reliability and functionality of developed solutions.
  • Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ServiceNow applications, troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 4-6 years of relevant experience in ServiceNow development.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of ServiceNow core and best practices, with expertise in IT Business Management (ITBM), Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), Project Portfolio Management (PPM), and Customer Support Management (CSM).
  • Scripting Skills: Hands-on experience in scripting languages such as Client Scripts, UI Policies, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Workflows/Flows, and Access Control Lists (ACLs).
  • Integration Knowledge: Experience in integration technologies (SOAP, REST, JSON, and Scripted Web Services) with third-party tools.
  • Soft Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working with international clients.

Preferred Skills

  • Good exposure to Performance Analytics, Reporting, Dashboards, and Workbench development.

Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in ServiceNow development, with a strong understanding of ServiceNow modules and best practices.

Environment

  • Work locations include Pune, Hyderabad, Nagpur, and Bengaluru. This is a full-time role with potential for remote work flexibility.

Salary

  • Estimated salary range: ₹2,000,000 per annum.
