About the Role:
We’re looking for a Social Media Manager / Strategist to join two of India’s most storied tea brands -
This is a highly execution-driven role where you will own the brand’s presence end-to-end across social platforms. From ideation to publishing, from responding to DMs to analyzing performance - you will be responsible for making the brand come alive online, every single day.
You will work across Instagram, YouTube and TikTok, ensuring consistent storytelling, sharp content, and strong community engagement. You will have significant ownership over both strategy and execution. This role sits in a lean team with high ownership and accountability.
What will you do:

Platform Ownership & Execution:
Own end-to-end management of all social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok)
Plan, schedule, and publish content consistently and regularly, ensuring quality and timeliness
Manage the content calendar and ensure smooth day-to-day execution
Drive consistent growth in followers, reach, ER while positioning as a premium wellness brand and Makaibari as the crown jewel of Darjeeling teas.

Content Ideation, referencing and creation:
Ideate content formats, series, and campaigns aligned with business goals
Identify sources of content creation - inhouse/ creators/ influencers/ shoots etc
Work of driving organic searches for the brand
Stay on top of trends and adapt them meaningfully for the brand

Community Management:
Own all interactions - comments, DMs, queries, and feedback
Build a strong, engaged community through thoughtful and timely responses
Do outbound ORM and outreach on social media platforms + platforms like reditt and Quora to drive organic brand visibility

Collaboration:
Work closely with writers, designers, and videographers to execute content
Align on briefs, references, and output quality
Coordinate with external creators or agencies when required
Ensure a steady pipeline of content across formats and platforms
Who are we looking for:
2–5 years of hands-on experience in social media management (agency or in-house)
Strong understanding of all platforms. Exposure to TikTok will be added advantage
Proven experience in both content planning and daily execution
A strong sense of what works on social - trends, formats, and audience behavior. Understanding premium content is an added advantage.
Comfort with basic tools (scheduling tools, analytics dashboards, Canva, etc.)
Experience with an online-first or D2C brand is mandatory
