Job Summary

We are seeking two proactive and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Interns to join our team in Hyderabad. This internship is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in mechanical design and computer-aided design (CAD) within a professional setting. As a Mechanical Design Intern, you will contribute to the design and development of innovative mechanical components, working closely with experienced engineers to support ongoing projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating detailed mechanical drawings and 3D models using Solidworks and other CAD software.
• Support the design, drafting, and modeling of mechanical components and assemblies.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to review and revise designs based on feedback and testing.
• Prepare and maintain accurate engineering documentation, including drawings and specifications.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve product design and functionality.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and company guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Solidworks and other CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor).
• Strong understanding of CAD drafting, modeling, and mechanical design principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to interpret and create technical drawings and specifications.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with additional CAD tools or simulation software.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles.
• Exposure to rapid prototyping or 3D printing technologies.

Experience

• Minimum Experience: 0 years (Freshers are welcome to apply).
• Relevant coursework, projects, or internships in mechanical design or CAD are a plus.

Environment

• Work Setting: Onsite, Hyderabad.
• Collaborative, team-oriented engineering environment.
• Standard office and lab conditions with occasional hands-on prototype work.

Salary

• ₹5,000 per month (Internship stipend).
